General Terms and Conditions

All purchases / party bookings are location specific and not interchangeable. Play passes, monthly passes, gift cards, field trips and party reservations are only valid at the location they are purchased from.

Play passes, including the family pass, expire after your designated time slot is over. Arcade credits and redemption tickets DO NOT expire. Add-on attraction packages and bundles are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase.

Gift Cards can be used towards Playcious play passes, arcade and attraction packages, party bookings / private and corporate events, field trips and at Cafe Playcious. Gift cards are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Any reservation or purchase made using your gift card will be subject to our normal booking / Playcious policies. We are not responsible if a Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without permission. Gift Cards expire 1 year from the date of purchase.

Loyalty Cards  expire in 365 days from the date of issue.

Party & Field Trip Booking: Bookings for all party types, including private parties, field trips and private field trips, are by advanced reservations ONLY and are subject to availability. 14 days’ notice is required for all online party bookings. For any last-minute and less than 14 days bookings, please contact a Playcious team member and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Party Downgrades: Playcious does allow party package downgrades 1) 7-10 days before the actual party day, and 2) if no change of room is involved, for instance downgrades from Active to Fun package as they are hosted in smaller rooms OR from Extreme to Supreme package as they are hosted in bigger rooms. Please note we complete all preparations for parties 7 days before their actual celebration day.

Playcious also allows downgrades from 3-Hour to 2-Hour party 1) 7-10 days before the actual party day and 2) if No Change of Room is involved.

Party Upgrades: You may upgrade your party package 7-10 days before your party date at an additional cost. Package upgrades that require a bigger room are subject to room availability. If a bigger room is not available, the upgraded party will be hosted in the room originally assigned to the party.

Birthday Child & Parents: Each party package includes the birthday child(ren), siblings and accompanying parent(s) / guardian(s) in the guest count.

Additional Children & Adults: If number of adults and children exceed the allocated number of your party package, an additional fee will be charged for each additional adult and child as per your party package. The fees will be added to the final invoice of your party/event.

Pricing: Weekday pricing EXCLUDES public holidays, including winter and spring breaks. Playcious reserves the right to charge the difference in price if the party package purchased for the date requested falls in the category of holiday package.

Party Time Allocation: All party reservations must adhere to the allotted time slots. This time slot must be STRICTLY adhered to by all guests. All patrons are asked to vacate the Playcious facility at the end of their allocated time slot (this includes – but not limited to – the play area).

Liability Waivers: These must be filled out and signed for each member attending / entering Playcious and must be completed by the parent / guardian of age older than 18 years.

Children’s Supervision: Playcious is a Parent-Supervised Facility and in case of field trips, it is a teachers/supervisors-supervised Facility. Parents / Guardians / Teachers / Supervisors are responsible for their children at all times. Playcious is NOT responsible for any injuries to children resulting from unsafe or careless use of the playground equipment and furniture items (counters, tables, and chairs) in café, party rooms and at any other place in the facility.

Grip Socks & Adult Socks: Playcious is a SOCKS ONLY Facility. GRIP SOCKS are MANDATORY for all Children. All adults are required to wear either regular or grip socks. Adults can purchase regular socks for $2.00/pair + HST. Grip socks can be purchased from Playcious either online or at the front reception desk for $2.99 / pair + HST for general walk-ins and $2.49 / pair + HST for parties and field trips. All socks’ sales are FINAL. Special Group Rates are also available for grip socks for parties (based on the package type), groups and field trips.

Playcious recommends all children wear pants, tights, or leggings (particularly for long way slides for safety reasons) to be able to access all attractions / areas of our indoor playground.

Food Related Policy Highlights

Playcious is a Nut-Aware Facility. We do not carry any items with nuts; however, we cannot guarantee that all items have been prepared in a nut-free facility.

Food Type: Party booking parents/persons may bring outside FINGER FOOD only. However, a cleaning fee of $30.00 or $50.00 + HST may apply to regular parties and a $100 + HST cleaning fee will be charged to private parties. Whether a cleaning fee is applicable or not will be determined on the day of the party by Playcious staff based on the condition of the room and the extent of cleaning required at the end of the party/event.

Cafe Playcious offers a variety of finger food, snacks, beverages and caters for parties. Following rules are applicable to food and beverages:

• Gum, popcorn, small candies (all are choking hazards), Cheetos (cheezies, etc.), rice of different types, curry / gravy dishes and cakes with nuts are PROHIBITED.
• Hard drinks and drug substances are not allowed. If our staff finds alcohol or any drug substances being used at any time during your party at Playcious, it will result in an immediate dismissal of your party
• Smoking is prohibited in the facility
• Soft drinks in glass bottles are not allowed
• Food and Beverages must be consumed in your party room ONLY or in the designated area by the Playcious Management.
• All catering orders must be confirmed and paid 7-14 days in advance.

Pizza is complimentary and included in our 2-hour basic, 3-hour prime, 4-hour deluxe birthday party packages, and private /exclusive party packages except the facility rental parties. Additional pizza can be purchased through Playcious. All pizza orders must be confirmed 7-14 days prior to your party date. Please note that Playcious serves Cheese Pizza only.

Cake & Cupcakes: Party booking persons may bring their own cakes or they can be ordered through Playcious. 

• Cake orders are required to be submitted 10 days prior to your party date.
• All cakes must be cut with the Playcious provided knife as party parents and guests are not allowed to bring their own knife for safety reasons.
• In case you bring your own cake, and you need disposable plates and forks, you can purchase them from us at an additional cost.

Disposable Crockery & Cutlery Items: Playcious will provide disposable crockery and cutlery items, such as plates, napkins, and forks, for the food or cakes supplied by or ordered through Playcious ONLY. In case you bring your own food / cake, and you need disposable crockery/cutlery, you can purchase it from us at an additional cost.

Take out boxes and bags for the remaining food are available for free for the Playcious provided food; however, they can be purchased at additional cost for your personal food.

Leftover food and drinks policy: The food items and drinks left behind, after your party/event ends or your play pass time ends (in case of walk-in customers), in the Playcious facility (party rooms or in the cafe sitting area), will be kept until the business closing time. Such leftover food/drink items will be destroyed soon after the facility is closed.

Cleaning Fee: Party booking parents/persons may bring outside FINGER FOOD only. However, a cleaning fee of $30.00 or $50.00 + HST may apply to regular parties; and a $100 cleaning fee may be charged to private parties and private field trips. Whether a cleaning fee is applicable or not will be determined on the day of the party by Playcious staff based on the extent of required cleaning at the end of the party / event.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking: Absolutely NO ALCOHOL, DRUG SUBSTANCES & SMOKING of any kind are allowed in the facility. If our staff finds alcohol or any drug substances being used at any time during your party at Playcious, it will result in an immediate dismissal of your party and legal actions may take place. Smoking is prohibited in the facility.

Decorations Related Policy Highlights:

Guests are allowed to bring their own decorations and balloons if they wish. You will be allotted approximately 10-15 minutes (20-30 minutes for private parties and 4-hour Deluxe parties) prior to the start of your party to set up your party room. We do not allow tape, sticky tack, or thumb tacks to be used to hang your decorations. Any damage that requires repair to Playcious party rooms will be subject to a damage fee. Each party room is equipped with a metallic wall, and we will provide you magnets to hang your wall décor up on the wall. Playcious will not fill any balloons purchased outside of our facility.

Piñatas, confetti, sparkling candles, pets, food warmer, and helium tanks are not allowed due to safety reasons.

Decorations, partyware and balloon arrangements must be purchased in advance. Playcious requires a minimum of 2 – 3 weeks’ notice for all orders.

• Damaged or missing Playcious RENTAL wall decorations may be subjected to a damage / replacement fee.

Party Add-ons: All types of party add-ons must be finalized and paid before the party day. Unpaid add-ons will NOT be accommodated and entertained

General Policy Highlights:

• Strollers are NOT allowed. They can be left in the cubby area.
• Playcious is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
• You are requested to NOT leave any valuable items in your coats, jackets or bags left in the cubby area or unattended in party rooms or any other place in the facility.
• Please note that our facility is under 24-hour video surveillance.
• Bags and backpacks, excluding small purses, are not allowed into the playground area. Please keep all valuables at home or in your vehicle. If you do require your bag for any reason, Playcious reserves the right to do a bag check prior to entering the playground to ensure everyone’s safety.

• Valuable Items: Please keep all valuables at home or in your vehicle before entering the Playcious facility.

• Valuable Jackets / Coats: You and your guests can bring their valuable jackets and coats to the assigned party rooms; where they can keep them in the wardrobes provided in each party room.

• No glassware of any kind, sparkling candles, lighter, and knives are allowed. Candles, lighter and cake cutting knife are provided by Playcious.

• Lost and found articles and belongings are kept for 3 months; after which these items are delivered to different charities.

• Leftover food and drinks policy: The food items and drinks left behind, after your party/event ends or your play pass time ends (in case of walk-in customers), in the Playcious facility (party rooms or in the cafe sitting area), will be kept until the business closing time. Such leftover food/drink items will be destroyed soon after the facility is closed.

• Carts: One cart will be provided to you to transport your personal belongings / food to the party room and back to your vehicle. It is 100% your responsibility to bring the trolley back to the facility if taken outside. In case, the trolley is left stranded outside the facility and gets stolen, the price of a new trolley will be charged to you.

Verbal & Physical Abuse / Harassment: Any type of verbal or physical abuse or harassment towards Playcious guests and employees will not be tolerated! Playcious reserves the right to refuse your admittance to the facility or ask you to leave in the following cases:

• If the equipment is being used improperly.
• Your play is unsafe.
• If you are disrespectful / abusive towards others guests / visitors in the facility.
• If your are being disrespectful and abusive towards Playcious staff.

Playcious reserves the right to refuse or cancel a party booking at any time if it is not compliant to Playcious Policies.

Young Children’s Accidents:

If a child has an accident (due to not wearing diapers or wearing them improperly in case of young children), accompanying parents / guardians will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the affected areas of the playground, particularly the Ball Pits. It will be followed by a thorough sanitization and disinfection work by Playcious staff. Playcious reserves the right to charge a fee to the child’s parents / guardians for any sanitization / disinfection work required in the event of an accident.
